Child Safety Standards

Applies to: the VELVET VIP app, operated by Velvet US LLC, a Wyoming Limited Liability Company ("Velvet", "Velvet US", "we", "us")

Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Velvet US LLC prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form on VELVET VIP. This includes, without exception:

Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to contact a minor for any sexual purpose
Sexualizing minors in any image, text, profile or conversation
Sextortion, or threatening to expose images of a minor
Trafficking or the commercial sexual exploitation of minors

Any account involved in this conduct is permanently terminated and reported to the competent authorities, as described below.

Adults Only

VELVET VIP is exclusively for adults aged 18 or older. Minors may not create an account or use the service. We apply several safeguards to keep minors off the platform:

Date of birth at sign-up: every user must provide a date of birth, and accounts cannot be created for anyone under 18.
Face verification: every user completes a selfie-based face verification during sign-up.
Age estimation: an automated age-estimation check flags accounts that may belong to a minor for priority manual review.
Device age signals: where the operating system provides an age signal and it confirms that the user is a minor, the account cannot be created.

Content Moderation

Photos uploaded to VELVET VIP are automatically screened for explicit content, and explicit images are blurred. Content that violates these standards is removed, and the accounts responsible are subject to the enforcement actions below.

Reporting Inside the App

Every profile in VELVET VIP includes a Report and block option. Users can report any member without leaving the app, and reports are anonymous to the person reported.

Selecting the reason "Appears to be a minor" triggers priority handling: the reported account is removed from view for other users while our team reviews it, and our moderation team is alerted immediately.

Enforcement and Reporting to Authorities

Confirmed minors: the account is deleted.
Child sexual abuse material: the content is removed from the service and preserved as evidence as required by law. We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and to the competent national authorities of the country where the user is located.
Cooperation with law enforcement: we respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation.

Reporting Outside the App

If you cannot use the in-app report, or you are not a VELVET VIP user, you can report a child safety concern to us by email at support@velvetusclub.com with the subject line "Child Safety".

You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678, or to your local police. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
